Oudtshoorn is well known for it's Ostrich Show Farms, Ostrich Palaces, The Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch. There are, however, lots of additional attractions, that are not as well known but equally enjoyable. These include A drive over the Swartberg Pass to Prince Albert and back to Oudtshoorn via Meiringspoort or ‘sit back and enjoy’ local world-class Port tasting in Calitzdorp . Alternatively visit the famous C.P. Nel Ostrich museum . For the more adventurous and fit then enjoy Hikes near De Rust or visit the Rust en Vrede Waterfall.
