Mimosa Lodge is set in the country town of Montagu, referred to as the “Gateway to the Karoo”. They offer 9 Classic bedrooms and 7 Suites, all individually styled with warm colours and thoughtful touches. The lodge has been carefully renovated to combine old world charm with modern facilities. Decorated with original art deco time pieces, some dating back to the 1920's.

All suites are situated in the garden, each with a private balcony. Guests can select from rooms with twin or king size beds. All Suites have their own Hi -Fi system and the bathrooms offer separate bath and shower facilities. The 9 classic rooms are uniquely decorated with original art deco time pieces, some dating back to the 1920's. Some of the rooms open into the beautiful garden; others are on the first floor level and have access to the Victorian veranda. The Orchard suite is in a freestanding building and offers a panoramic mountain view. It has 1½ storey’s of luxury and space and a private champagne pool on the lawn in front of the suite.

Mimosa Lodge is set in Montagu, an oasis in the rough landscape of the Little Karoo. Surrounded by magnificent mountains, Montagu is well known for its beautifully preserved Georgian and Cape Dutch buildings.

The Lodge has a beautifully laid out garden that invites guests to relax and unwind. Listen to the prolific birdsong, relax at the pool, or explore the surrounding countryside and the Roberston wine route. The pool is heated in cooler seasons so guests can enjoy a dip year round. Take a stroll through the grounds, to the sweet-scented rose garden, the apricot orchard, the Karoo Garden introducing you to the plants, shrubs and bushes indigenous to this semi-desert area.

Internationally known for its cuisine, the Mimosa Lodge offers a tantalising dining experience. Bordering on the Little Karoo, specialties like Karoo Lamb, Ostrich Fillets and Loin of Springbok are the order of the day. Accompanied by only the freshest herbs and vegetables, often grown in Mimosa Lodges’ own garden.
