Kichaka Luxury Game Lodge General Information

Situated on a small hill, only the apexes of the thatched roofs visible among the trees, Kichaka Luxury Game Lodge looks out over a hippo dam in a private game reserve in South Africa's temperate Eastern Cape. Ten suites dot the hillside and each is appointed with hotel-like luxury and amenities: full en suite bathrooms, private decks, underfloor heating, air conditioning, heated plunge pools, lounge, bar fridge, internet, satellite TV, 24-hour room service and direct-dial telephones. If that all sounds a bit to far removed from the spectacular bush the rolls around outside, fear not for the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open directly onto the deck and the opulent bush.

The main lodge has a large lounge and dining area, an upstairs library and reading room, massive game viewing terraces and a pool that all but joins the waterhole below. Food and wine lovers are well catered for with an experienced cellar master on call and five-star silver service at hand.
