The intimate and luxurious Hlosi Game Lodge has four individually styled suites designed to capture the spirit of a bygone era, while providing the luxuries of contemporary lodge living. These suites – 2 twin suites and 2 double suites – accommodate up to 8 guests.

All rooms are well air conditioned with fireplaces and under floor heating for those chilly nights. The suites boast unique private courtyards with outside showers and private verandahs overlooking the grasslands. There are also large en suite bathrooms with spa baths and showers. Suites are well attended with bar fridge and Coffee/Tea facilities. Telephones and Internet points in all suites.

Hlosi Game Lodge: Cheetah Conservation

Hlosi Game Lodge is all about understated luxury and true African hospitality that enables its guests to find a restful intimacy with the Eastern Cape bushveld. Here elephant herds line the horizon and cheetah settle silently in the long grass. Hlosi Lodge is situated in a Malaria Free area, so no anti-malaria medication is necessary.

Hlosi means ‘cheetah’ in Xhosa and is named as such because the owners/managing couple have a sincere dedication to conservation and specifically the rehabilitation of cheetah’s back into the wild. As the lodge has a maximum of 8 guests at a time, their team encourages guests to maximise game viewing time.

Full days out in the bush are offered with a relaxing picnic lunch, canoe trip on the Bushman’s River for wonderful birding, a guided walk, or tracking some of the larger species in the Reserve.
