A wonderful surprise awaits you at the Five Star De Kloof Luxury Estate in Swellendam. The Swedish owners Roy and Marjoelein van Mourik fell in love with the tranquillity and spaciousness of the area and bought one of the oldest buildings in the Swellendam; a monument from the 19th Century situation on 5.1 hectares of prime land. Away from the hustle of the Main Street, but within walking distance, they made every effort to restore many of the historical elements. Marjoelein’s interior design experience came in hand, and you can look forward to a very stylish interior mixed with pieces collected from the owners extensive travels through Africa. Roy and Marjoelein van Mourik are no strangers to excellent service and hospitality and having worked for several years, in the international hotel industry, De Kloof Estate has afforded them the opportunity to make their vocation their vacation!
