Zibadianja Camp InformationClose to the Zibadianja Lagoon – source of the Savuti Channel – Zibadianja Camp offers an intimate and exclusive safari in a game-rich private reserve. The camp has four large tented rooms that offer privacy, comfort and a spectacular African landscape. With occupancy limited to six at any time, quiet and unobtrusive intimacy is guaranteed; groups of up to eight can also book the entire camp for total exclusivity. As of 30th October 2008, the camp has turned off its generator and switched entirely to solar power. As a result, Zibadianja has drastically reduced its carbon footprint, contributing to the conservation of this fragile and beautiful ecosystem. The reed-walled mess tent houses the lounge and dining area; outside there is a campfire for relaxing under the stars and the bar is a separate thatched gazebo overlooking a popular watering hole. The floodplains in the 135,000ha private reserve are a rich source of food and water for many animals including antelope, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, cheetah, wild dog, lion and heaps of elephant. Your daily game drives, night drives and interpretive bush walks will yield a kaleidoscope of experiences. Click here to read our blog on Zibadianja Camp! |
