Selinda Camp Information

Overlooking game-rich floodplains, Selinda Camp is an intimate and luxurious tented camp between the Okavango Delta and the Linyanti wetlands. Nine tented rooms have the classic Wilderness Safaris touch with rustic charm and luxurious amenities. The east-African style tents are on raised wooden decks; the thatch roofs cool the interior and blend in with the surrounds.

En suite bathrooms open into outdoor showers and private verandahs look over the ephemeral waterway and the endless plains beyond. The double-storey main lodge houses the lounge, bar and dining areas with open sides and thatch roof. Daily activities include morning, afternoon and night game drives with experienced professional guides. Fascinating guided walks through the wilderness are unmissable.

Game Viewing Extravaganza

The floodplains in the 135,000ha private reserve are a rich source of food and water for many animals including antelope, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, cheetah, wild dog, lion and heaps of elephant. Predator action is an amazing show with the famous hippo-hunting lions of Selinda and leopard, wild dog and cheetah putting in appearances. Lace up your boots, slap on the sun cream and go on the Selinda Walking Trail – an excellent two-day walk between Tswene and Mokoba in the Linyanti Concession. You will see, feel, hear, smell and taste the bush in a way no safari lodge or game drive could ever offer.
