MOWANA SAFARI LODGE

Spectacularly sited on the Chobe River, close to Chobe National Park, yet easily accessible by air, Mowana Safari Lodge stands at the point where four countries meet. Mowana is 8 kms by car from the international standard airport at Kasane serviced on a regular basis by flights from Johannesburg, Gaborone and Maun. You could also choose to fly from Johannesburg or Harare to the Victoria Falls where the Lodge's transfer service picks up guests. Mowana is the perfect setting for any Southern African experience. At the convergence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, 10 kms downstream from Mowana, the four countries of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe share a common meeting point.

The lodge featurs 104 luxury rooms with full en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are river facing with air-conditioning, mini bars, hairdryers, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and electric insect repellents. Mowana features an outdoor swimming-pool, set in a natural landscape. The Serondella Restaurant serves an exciting and inticing mix of African and European flavours, prepared by masterful chefs. One interesting feature is a hairdressing salon in a tree house with a view of the river, trim your fringe while a local monkey looks on.
