The most popular section of Chobe National Park is the Chobe Waterfront within the vicinity of Kasane. Let the game come to you as you glide past on a river boat cruise!
- Enjoy game viewing by mokoro, boat or vehicle
- The area is home to large herds of elephants and buffalo
- Spend extra time and go Tiger fishing on the river
- Bird life along the river is simply awesome
- Share the streets of Kasane town with the local wildlife!
The Northern section of Chobe National Park lies only 100 km from
Victoria Falls. The area is dominated by the Sluggish and wide Chobe river where boats can are used for game viewing. The area is easy to get and can be quite busy, we acknowledge this and try to recommend lodges that have a sensitive approach to game drives. The following lodges are amongst our favourite in the Chobe Waterfront Area.

The finest and most elegant place to stay at Chobe is
Chobe Chilwero. Situated on a hill overlooking the Chobe River and Sedudu Island, Chilwero only has a total of 15 chalets. The classic and well known
Chobe Game Lodge is the only lodge to actually be located in the Chobe National Park.
Situated on an island on the Chobe River –
Chobe Savanna Lodge is a great destination for water based activities.
Chobe Marina is a large resort style lodge in the centre of the Kasane area and as such is ideal for families and larger groups. The smaller
Muchenje Lodge is family owned and managed, and the lodge has an intimate feel to it.
