Just east of the National Park entrance is the small scenic town of Kasane. Here the border of the park butts right against the edge of town, and since it is unfenced, often animals can be seen casually wandering the streets. River frontage is only a few kilometres away from Kasane and many of the lodges in this area are built right on the water's edge. Being only 100km and a short flight from
Victoria Falls, the Kasane area and its lodges can become quite crowded. For this reason we have selected some of the more secluded and private lodges in the area.
The Linyanti and Savuti areas, often hailed as Africa's prime wildlife destination, encompasses the southwestern corner of the park. Linyanti is a smaller, more secluded and very pristine swampland section of only 900sqkm. While the Savuti swampland is larger at 5000sqkm. This area is well known for its high concentrations of game and consequently it's high concentrations of predators. In Savuti you will get the opportunity to see, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog.
Wherever you choose to go in Chobe, we will be able to help you choose the right accommodation to suit your needs and ensure that you have the best possible Chobe safari.
