Banhoek Vineyard Lodge General Information

Zorgvliet is a large wine farm in the Banhoek Valley near Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands with three accommodation offerings: the Zorgvliet Suites, Zorgvliet Vineyard Lodge and Le Pommier Country Lodge.

The Zorgvliet Vineyard Lodge is the most luxurious of the three. Vast suites look out over the Banhoek Valley through French windows that make up the view-facing side of each room. A sumptuous double bathroom and the full range of five-star amenities see to your comfort; the décor - elegant and restrained - maintains the mood of opulent decorum. Breakfast is in the intimate privacy of the lodge (lunches may be taken here too) while dinner is in either of the two fabulous restaurants in the Zorgvliet wine village. From your luxurious base camp, you can easily visit the winery, neighbouring wine farms, Stellenbosch, Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, golf courses, museums, galleries, restaurants and shops.

Banhoek Vineyard Lodge – experience the winelands first hand

Experience life in South African wine country first hand on this successful Stellenbosch wine farm. Zorgvliet produces an impressive range of wines and offers tasting, sales, personalised labels and tours of the winery. The farm has two restaurants – Le Pommier and Zorgvliet Herenhuis, which is the original manor house, built in 1692 and, with its dam, vineyards, gardens and the backdrop of mountains, is a popular wedding and conference venue. Zorgvliet also has a full-treatment health and beauty spa and a coffee shop that sells picnic supplies.
