Lanzerac Manor Description

The Lanzerac Manor & Winery is located on a private working wine estate in the world-famous Jonkers-hoek Valley surrounded by the dramatic Helderberg mountains close to Stellenbosch. The hotel accommodation is well known for its great food and attention to detail. The building and architecture is classic Cape Dutch and one of the areas most picturesque examples.

In order to provide the ultimate in guest service accommodation has been limited to 48 spacious rooms, including 5 Junior Suites, the luxurious Royal Pool Suite with it's own private swimming pool and the Presidential Suite. All rooms and suites open out onto private patios overlooking lush vineyards, landscaped gardens and the majestic Helderberg mountains The hotel's rooms, restaurants, bar, lounge and facilities are all located in the estate’s 300 year old Manor House and out-buildings, amidst 10 hectares of award-winning land-scaped gardens featuring numerous ancient oaks, some over 160 years old.

Lanzerac has a great reputation for excellent cuisine. The Governors Hall Restaurant is the hotels main a la Carte elegant restaurant. The Lanzerac Terrace is a casual shaded terrace overlooking the Manor House. The Lady Anne Courtyard is an elegant Mediterranean styled courtyard adjacent to the Governors Restaurant. The Taphuis is the Hotel's main bar decorated in yellow-wood featuring a large Cape Dutch kitchen fireplace . The Craven lounge is the elegant hotel lounge featuring antiques and seating.
