Le Ballon Rouge General InformationLe Ballon Rouge is a Victorian-themed guesthouse in a restored 1904 building with a hierarchy of accommodation ranging from comfortable twins to luxurious loft suites. The guesthouse is in the centre of Franschhoek – a delightful Franco-Dutch town in the Cape Winelands - and a few minutes walk to the main street and some of South Africa's top restaurants. Le Ballon Rouge Guesthouse has five standard rooms, three superior rooms and two luxury suites. Standard rooms have either twin or double beds, en suite bathrooms, ceiling fans, tea and coffee, and either mountain or garden views; superior rooms have separate showers, heated towel rails and air conditioning; the loft suite has more space, more luxury and a wonderful bathroom with heated towel rails and underfloor heating. The pièce is the massive owner's suite, which features an antique-deco bathroom with underfloor heating, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, lounge, kitchenette, and a rooftop deck with a hot tub and a magnificent view. |
