Cathbert Country Lodge is a real Gem ! The lodge is managed and owned by Ann & Robert Morley who have kept it purposely small in order that they get to know their guests. Cathbert has a total of 8 hotel rooms each of which have views over a reservoir, farmland, vineyards and mountains. Enjoy the choice of executive suites or luxury rooms, each accommodation type comes with an en-suite bathroom and open-plan bedroom and lounge The spacious rooms, furnished in indigenous woods, are equipped with mini-bars and TV airconditioning and/or ceiling fans. And warmed by underfloor heating, or a fireplace in winter.

Each unit at Cathbert Country Lodge opens on to a veranda and secluded garden, with spectacular vistas across vineyards to the towering Boland mountains Wake up to country quiet, clean air and glorious views. There is lots to do in the area - or simply opt out, locate a sun-umbrella and a novel, and laze beside the pool until you can see the valley change as the sun sinks below the mountain

At Cathbert Country Lodge enjoy a leisurely breakfast, on the sunny garden deck on the veranda, or in the restaurant, overlooking the pool . Gourmet dinners are served from a set menu which changes daily and Cape wines will complement your meals. Ann masterfully juggles her time between reception and the kitchen. Its in the kitchen that she conjures up delicious meals using only the freshest of local ingredients. Robert acts as host and sommeliers.
