Each of the four restored cottages – the moss-covered pathways linking them like an enchanted garden – sleeps two in complete privacy. Within a few minutes of arriving you'll feel at home; and you'll probably feel like moving home too, so comfortably appointed and tastefully decorated are the rooms. Modern fittings find their way into the necessities like underfloor heating, power showers, air conditioning, mobile phones and flat-screen home entertainment centres; traditional elegance endures in the period pieces and original art.
