Tintswalo Atlantic is an amazing new offering from the Tintswalo group, located in one of Cape Town's most unspoilt and attractive destinations. Perched on Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the world's most scenic routes alongside rocky mountain and above the rough Indian Ocean, the views from the rooms and common areas are simply spectacular. Below lies the picturesque suburb of Hout Bay (referred to by the somewhat separatist residents as the Republic of Hout Bay) and its harbour, beach and the rolling hills and peaks of the Table Mountain Park.

The hotel is perched on seaside boulders and nestled in a forest of milkwood trees. Accommodation consists of 10 Luxury Suites and a Presidential Suite all with spectacular views of the Ocean and sunset. The rooms are luxurious and spacious with king size beds and well-appointed bathrooms. The building is made mainly of wood and glass so it blends well into the surrounding environment. The plan is to relocate the hotel after 20 years so it does not adversely affect the ecosystem.

Made almost entirely of local materials (glass and wood), it has little environmental impact and the plan is to keep it that way.
