Situated in the fashionable and historical Heritage Square in the centre of Cape Town, the Cape Heritage Hotel is a stylish hotel which we believe offers exceptional value for money. The manager and owner Nick Garston ensures that guests are well looked after and entertained, advising on day trips and things to do in and around Cape Town. Staying at Cape Heritage Hotel means that you have five highly regarded independent restaurants on your doorstep.

Each of the 15 rooms and suites have been individually and skilfully designed – every room has a different interior design theme, each sensitively done to showcase the original workmanship and architectural style. Most of the rooms are surrounded by high beam teak ceilings, burnished hard wood and yellowwood floors, and beautifully exposed original wall finishes and murals.

Cape Heritage Hotel : Cape Heritage Square

The hotel is located slap bang in the heart of Heritage Square, a conservation success project. Dating back to 1771, a disaster nearly struck in the 1970’s when the area was earmarked to be demolished to make way for a car park. Public pressure prevented this from happening and in 1990 the square was sympathetically restored with its original facades but modern interiors. The square houses over 4 highly recommended restaurants with a variety of different menus and styles: Strega, Mojo, Savoy Cabbage and the Africa Café. The square also houses a unique wine bar and cellar as well as an Asian Noodle Bar.
