Overlooking a large park where Cape Town begins its sheer ascent up Table Mountain, 2inn1 Kensington is modern, purpose-built guesthouse that offers quiet, comfortable and elegant city accommodation. With a uniform layer of Milk Bar white, the dashes of lime strike a refrained chord of sophisticated urban décor.

The breakfast room is a long line of two-seaters much like the en vogue eateries of European cities. Outside, a large pool stretches long and thin in the multi-levelled, granite-tiled courtyard, all the while Lion's Head and Table Mountain loom gratifyingly in the picture, while the city and harbour lights unfold below.
