The Long Beach Description

The Long Beach has six super luxurious rooms, all with stylishly comfortable interiors. The upstairs bedrooms all have private balconies overlooking the beach and the views across the bay of Chapman’s Peak and Hout Bay. The downstairs bedrooms all open up on the private swimming pool area, which opens up on to the dunes and walkway down to the waters edge!

The décor in this boutique hotel depicts the restful intimateness, with hand-painted natural fabrics with tranquil blues and salmon pinks against a warm ivory background, all the rooms echoing the colours of the hotels exquisite coastal setting.

Each suite is adorned with lime washed wooden shutters that, when opened, display the spectacular views of the crystal blue Atlantic Ocean and the pure white sands of Kommetjie's famous Long Beach.

There is not much accommodation in Cape Town that actually open up onto beautiful soft white sand, the beach is literally on your doorstep with spectacular uninterrupted views across the sea to Hout Bay and Table Mountain. The Long Beach is perfect for an intimate romantic getaway or to share with family and friends. The Long Beach is ideally situated close to many of the Cape Peninsula's breathtaking attractions and just a short drive to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. There are a host of activities to enjoy while staying at The Long Beach ranging from your own personal crayfishing expedition, horse riding along the beach, to frolicking in the waves in one of guesthouse’s kayaks.

You can often stand on the balcony of the lounge and watch the many whales that visit the bay between July and November to calve, right in front of you.
