Rodwell House is an elegantly pressed and starched boutique hotel in the seaside village of St. James – one of the Cape revival's most significant success stories. A converted 1930s manor house, Rodwell House is complete luxury and total tranquillity with a rather splendid ocean view to boot.

Eight suites have been hand crafted and modernised to a high level of luxury. Each of the spacious open-plan suites has air conditioning and heating, home entertainment centre, wireless internet, bar fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. The bathrooms are features unto themselves with free-standing baths, twin vanities and toilets, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, double showers and complimentary bathroom amenities. The public spaces at Rodwell House are no less opulent with sea-facing terraces, lounges, cosy dining room, library, atrium, and a signature wine cellar and tasting room with over 15,000 bottles to choose from.
