Camps Bay Retreat General Information

Camps Bay Retreat is an experience. Within walking distance of the beach, the four-acre nature reserve adjoins the the 35ha Glen Forest that marks the upper boundary of development in Camps Bay. A range of accommodation options is available in three different buildings, all featuring hefty doses of luxury and tranquillity. All of the 15 rooms have air conditioning, en suite bathrooms, home entertainment centres and satellite TV, mini bars, internet access and a telephone and laptop connection.

A central restaurant forms the social centre of the hotel and executive chef, Peet Steyn, dishes up excellent food using fresh seasonal ingredients, many of the herbs and vegetables grown on the estate. Dishes include sushi, speciality barbecues, and fresh fish from the nearby fishing towns. Peet has also started making his own garage wine to complete the self-contained fine dining experience.
