3 NIGHTS – Marataba Safari Lodge
Once you land in South Africa, at Johannesburg Airport, the adventure begins! You will be transferred to Marataba Safari Lodge, for 3 nights in the malaria-free Marakele National Park, a 3 hour drive away (fully inclusive with local beverages). Part of More Hotels, Marataba offers nothing but the best in luxury tented suites, each with its own private deck overlooking the Waterberg Mountains and a river below. Take it easy under a canopy of trees or take a break from the summer heat with a dip in the pool. This is a family friendly lodge and children over 6 years are allowed to go on game drives. The guides take special care to spend time with the children on game drives or back at the lodge, teaching and guiding them through the wonders of nature and the African bush. This package includes: 2 daily game drives.
3 NIGHTS – Madikwe Safari Lodge
You and your family will be transferred on to the malaria-free 76 000-hectare Madikwe Game Reserve – one of South Africa’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries – for a 3 night stay in the family-friendly Madikwe Safari Lodge. There is plenty to do for the young ones – like toasting marshmallows around the fire, bug identification, dung tracking, making pizzas in the boma oven, soccer, stargazing. Here the whole family can experience the African wilderness up close on game drives through Big 5 terrain. On the last day, take a charter flight from Madikwe to Johannesburg Airport for your flight onward to Cape Town.
6 NIGHTS – 15 on Orange
Spend 6 nights at 15 on Orange in the heart of Cape Town, mere steps from the National Museum, Planetarium and Company Gardens, and the city’s restaurants and shops, and only 3 km from Camps Bay and its beaches. You’ll have interconnecting deluxe rooms so the kids will never be too far away. Enjoy meals at the on site Savour Restaurant and treats from the Cinnamon Café.
