The rates you will receive from Rhino Africa are 5-10% less expensive than if you were to book directly with lodges and hotels. More importantly, your travel plans will be arranged by an experienced professional who can give you first-hand information and advice. The Rhino Africa consultants have collectively travelled to all the destinations offered on this site and are passionate about creating your ideal African experience.

Some important things to understand about our pricing structure:

• Prices on the Rhino Africa website are updated on a regular basis. However, to maintain consistency the prices quoted on the site are rack rates and prices do differ according to the season of travel.
  
• A rack rate is the rate a hotel would offer you if you approached them directly. These are rates, which have not been discounted and are the hotel or lodge’s fixed annual rate. Rhino Africa will be able to secure a better rate for you in your quotation.
  
• Rhino Africa do not raise a card surcharge should you wish to pay via credit card.

We aim to give you a comprehensive quotation covering all expenses that you might incur on your trip so that there are no surprises and no hidden costs.

A word on flights

Rhino Africa are proud announce that they are the first African web-based tour operator to offer competitive airfares into Africa from around the globe. Through our IATA Registered UK Agency, Rhino Africa is able to offer fares that are as competitive as the large wholesale websites like Opodo and Expedia. With “value for money” being the ethos of our business, we have until recently not offered inbound airfares, until we were certain we could do so competitively, providing a hassle free online reservation system, within the Rhino Africa website.

In line with International Aviation rules, while you can book flights from or to anywhere on the globe, our most competitive pricing is on all incoming routes to Africa. We encourage you to use your Rhino Africa Travel Expert when it comes to booking both Domestic and Regional flights within Africa. The reason for this is that through our access to local IT fares, we are able to offer a more competitive quote on these routes, negotiated locally rather than by our UK registered agency.

Bonding has long been a problem for African based Tour Operators trying to attract International visitors, particularly those from Europe, which are protected by bonding agencies abroad. I am proud to announce that through our SATSA affiliation, Rhino Africa is now a bonded agency, completing the circle of a one stop travel shop to Africa.

SATSA stands for the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association, and through our membership it testifies that we have a financial guarantee in place to cover monetary deposits lodged with Rhino Africa in advance of services to be rendered.
