Yolanda Luiters assists us at Rhino Africa when it all gets a bit too technical for us to handle! She is currently project managing our new ‘superdooper ‘reservation system called Globe-Track. Its Yolanda who enables us to timeously create quotes, itineraries and bespoke travel documentation. With many years of experience in some of Africa’s most well known travel websites, Yolanda has now been encouraged to hop the fence to luxury travel ! At Rhino Africa we are the antithesis of other big operators – and Yolanda loves the atmosphere and informal structure we encourage at Rhino Africa where clients are known by their names and our holidays are tailormade with passion. After 7 years in ye old England, Terence has returned to his home in South Africa to add his technical skills to Rhino Africa’s web team. A “techie” of note who can fix any system, programme or PC with endless amounts of patience – Terence is a much needed addition to the technical side of Rhino Africa. Bjorn is our website-tweaking-technologist i.e. our PHP Web Developer! Although we have tried to institutionalise him into Rhino Africa he is an independent spirit who already has his own Web Development business at the young age of 25. After studying Information Technology at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. After working at a number of IT companies, Bjorn decided to create his own company and hasn’t looked back. He is well-known for offering his quirky comments around the Rhino offices and is an integral part of keeping our website up-to-date and functioning sound! Andree is from Namibia, Ian is from Zimbabwe and between them they have covered pretty much all of southern Africa; their blood runs thick with three essential ingredients for the success of our company: Africa, travel and all things www. Born in Zimbabwe and thankfully escaped to South Africa. Ben has a degree in Film & Media from the University of Cape Town and has since worked as and is an experienced copywriter. Ben has been bitten by the travel bug and has only recently returned from an extensive trip from Cape to Cairo, where hopefully he didn’t pick up any less desirable bugs. One of the most recent additions to our web team, Ben brings with him a dictionary, a love for travel and a love of quirky writing and rhetoric. Mandy was an ideal candidate to join our team where she has combined all her enthusiasms to create a media company that takes care of all of Rhino Africa’s online and offline marketing needs. Mandy has worked in Cape Town and London and is passionate about the evolution of business onto the Internet. With an enviable knowledge on Astrology, we knew that we'd found the right 'soul' to add some spice in the office when she asked David (in her interview) if he knew he was a typical Leo! Jan plays an integral role as the Search Marketing Analyst for Rhino Africa’s media company, Traffic Brand. For the uninitiated - as a search marketing analyst he uses his expertise to ensure that all Rhino Africa's online marketing campaigns are running smoothly and that our travel consultants receive a steady flow of enquiries! In contrast to his vast knowledge of the Internet and associated systems and programmes, Jan is a keen mountaineer. On the weekends he is found wandering a "mountain path" that we would call a "serious hike". He is also a volunteer for the Table Mountain rescue team and is often called out at strange hours to assist with rescues on Cape Town’s beloved mountain.
